AS Farm @ Sycamore Spring , Frederick , MD

Arch Sparks was born in 1865 and was the Patriarch of our family's small, sustainable,"Farm-to-Table" homestead farms. Three generations of Arch's Grandchildren continue his Farm to Customer dream today with our on Farm Store, CSA program and "Beyond Organic" Farm-to-Table delivery Service. Arch believed that families should have farms in their lives and that farmers should consider their customers as "Family". That means raising and growing the healthiest most nutrient dense food possible while doing NO HARM to our planet and animal friends. We want our Customers to visit our farms when they can and when they can't we'll bring the farm to your door. Check our Farm Sustainability workshops

Nice Farms Creamery is located on the 201 acre Miller and Tanner Dairy Farm in American Corner, Maryland. For 20 years, the herd has been pastured on 118 acres. These cows, Holsteins and Holstein crosses, produce high quality, all natural milk for the Creamery's yogurt and Cream-line milk products produced on site. We hold responsible farming techniques as one of their core beliefs and pass the benefits on to our customers. Our cows spend 21 hours on pasture a day for 9+ months of the year. During the winter, when grass is unavailable, the cows eat hay produced during the growing season. Products are available at farmers markets in MD & DE. Please visit our website for more information

While people have been farming at Roundabout Hills since the 1740s, our family decided to restart the tradition in 2009. Ours isn't a big, corporate agribusiness. But we like things small - it helps us focus on producing the freshest, tastiest fruit and vegetables for people who know our first names, and we theirs. Indeed, our aim in starting up Roundabout Hills farm is to give you the chance to eat fresh, naturally grown local food free from pesticides and other chemicals, rather than food that has traveled thousands of miles by train, plane, and truck to reach your plate. What's more, when you buy from our farm, you're helping to make sure that small Maryland farms thrive.

SUNFLOWER FIELD FARMS , PARKTON , MD

"We are a family farm with locations in Northern Baltimore County. *WE OFFER COMPLIMENTARY EXTERNAL HONEY BEE SWARM REMOVAL* For swarm removal we will travel to Baltimore, Baltimore County, Carroll County and Harford County. Rescued bees will be cared for and hived directly in our apiaries. We believe that honey bees are an integral part of agriculture & nature and that they need all the help they can get, considering their continued decline in the US. WE RAISE BEES, so our bees eat most of what they make. We take honey from our strongest hives and distribute to the weaker hives so that all of the colonies have a better chance of winter survival. If there is excess honey, we will have a honey harvest. We sell limited amounts of HONEY (pure, raw, hand extracted), BEES, and HIVE RELATED PRODUCTS (lip balm, beeswax, honey comb, etc). MEMBER MD FARM BUREAU, CENTRAL MD BEEKEEPERS ASSOC, AND MARYLAND STATE BEEKEEPERS ASSOC. Thank you in advance-"
