We are a full-time farming operation in Churchville, MD. We begin in the spring with annual and perennial flowers, hanging baskets, and containers as well as u-pick strawberrries. Once the corn comes in, we have three stands open locally with sweet corn, tomatoes, watermelon, peaches, and all of the other local summer produce. In the fall we have a Maize Quest corn maze adventure, wagon rides to our u-pick pumpkins, scarecrow making, pumpkin painting, and many other fall products such as apples, apple cider, and fall decoratives.
We also have a Community Supported Agricultural (CSA) program which runs from May through October. We provide a healthy supply of seasonal fresh vegetables throughout the growing season. Thanksgiving Farm CSA is a community-supported agriculture farm south of Frederick on Route 85 (Buckeystown Pike). Our emphasis is on tasting and trying many different vegetables and fruits throughout the 20-week season beginning in mid-June and running through the end of October. We strive to have different vegetables and fruits each week.
In our farm market, we also offer additional fruits and vegetables, as well as a wide variety of annual and perennial plants and cut flower bouquets.
